Dedicated to supporting the move to a greener, more sustainable future, Third Rock started in 2008 as an idea by founder Amanda Barry-Hirst. She says ‘I wanted to apply my PR skills, gained from 25 years in the industry, to a cause that I really connected with’.
It was after a spell as Head of PR for waste body WRAP on its ground-breaking Recycle Now and Love Food Hate Waste campaigns, that Amanda realised that the environment was that cause.
Amanda has been joined at Third Rock by other like-minded senior consultants who have added further skills and food & drink expertise to the agency – food & drink PR specialist Debra Pieri, social media expert Greta Agar-Hutton and retail, food & drink and environmental specialist Louise Barnett.
