Case Study: Zero Waste Scotland
Zero Waste Scotland provides grants and business support consultancy to businesses that are making the transition to a circular economy model. We were commissioned to write case studies that put the spotlight on a few of the most interesting examples.
What We Did
Amanda interviewed senior executives at the selected businesses and wrote a series of case studies that showcased the breadth of innovation that is being supported by Zero Waste Scotland. The stories included a company making beer from left-over bread on the Isle of Bute; a new scheme that is set to give a new lease of life to the thousands of golf clubs that end up gathering dust in people’s garages; and an inventive idea that is extending the lifespan of motorway steel crash barriers up and down the roads of Scotland.
The case studies are being used by Zero Waste Scotland to promote its services through the media to those with circular economy-related business ideas. See the following links for three examples now published on the Zero Waste Scotland website. Photo Credit: Iain McLean Photography
